1. To TEACH the students basic driving skills, enabling them to handle a motor vehicle properly.
2. To PROVIDE the students with a wide range of driving experiences so they are better equipped to handle different driving situations.
3. To ENCOURAGE the students to give careful consideration to other road users and thereby minimising, and in most instances, avoid accidents.
4. To HELP students understand that their ultimate goal in learning to drive is not just to get the licence, but to be a safe driver so that they can enjoy many years of driving long after they obtain their licence.
5. To INSPIRE students (particularly those in the age group 16-21) to have a sense of self-belief - a belief that they can and they will be a better driver than what others give them credit for.
